Way back when I first encountered the internets, one of my first regular haunts was a little Eddings fansite called the Mallorean Tavern, and on this forum was an RPG area known as the Gambling Table. I played there briefly before real life intervened and stuff. I wish I hadn't departed on such poor terms as I did, but you can't change the past, I suppose...
Anyway, this is gift art I was working on at the time, as I was experimenting with both a new style and a brush pen. Part 1 of 2 (I never finished the others, sadly).
OMFG! Why didn't you finish this back when we were still active on the GT? It's great! You know, I think you were the only person on the GT who understood that KA wasn't a magic-user-type character...and I will love you forever for it.
The pic owns, man; I adore the oriental armor -- it fits. Also, the eyes are really good; they'll got that odd dullness I always imagined.
At any rate, you scared Rose SO bad when you put this pic & the one of Lady Rose up. She came up to me yesterday and was like: "Dude -- you HAVE to log into our DA account. There's something you need to see." and then went on to tell me you'd finally updated and had posted old GT stuff. LoL, blast from the past!
It's good to see the old crew again; it makes me all semi-hyper. Thanks! :-D
You're welcome. XD I'm really glad you like it! I meant to give these out like, ages ago, but the scanner I had at the time died, plus a certain person was really pissed off at me and I didn't know if that extended to you guys or not. D: I'd forgotten I still had those or I would've put them up a ton sooner. X_x I'd really like to redo the set one of these days, if I can ever find spare time and a new brush pen.
I seriously mean that. The GT was a blast mostly because of the KAites, and you did a lot to make a green newbie feel welcome. So... thanks, if I never said that before.

*wipes away tear* Shit man, that's real nice of you. LoL.
You know, I was entirely unaware of the fallout details following your departure from the GT... O.o Regardless, I can assure you that Rose (she says "Hey, Asuka!" BTW) and I didn't harbor any ill feelings towards you after you left. LoL, I think I know who that 'certain person' may've been, and if I'm correct, suffice it to say that Rose and I shared very few -- if any -- of that person's views on the whole.
Now that we've handled that in public like a bunch of gangsters...*hug*. W00t!
